A Visit to DressByDesign

As soon as she saw the little black watch plaid sheath hanging among several other sample dresses in Dress By Design's shop on Allen Street in Buffalo, Janine knew she had come to the right place. Her son's wedding was in a few weeks, she had looked high and low and hadn't found anything, until now!  There it was, the perfect dress that she had envisioned ... sophisticated, elegant, classic, unique! She let out a major sigh of relief.

Many of the clients who visit our shop tell us how lovely it is and what a pleasure, to not only design a dress, but to have a seamstress fit it perfectly to them. One woman said that she felt like it must have felt one hundred years ago when all clothing was made by hand for the individual. What a treat and a special experience!! The ambiance of the place has been described as serene..there's a shaggy chic feel too, said another visitor. Having Ruby, our darling resident cavalier spaniel, greeting visitors only adds to the charm.

With the constant buzz of activity, one realizes that all the dresses are made right in this Buffalo shop. Nothing is shipped overseas in this company. Patterns and threadspools hang off a peg board that takes up an entire wall, floor to ceiling. A massive cutting table is dressed up in a pink skirt.

A few weeks later, as Janine happily models her gorgeous dress, she thinks to herself...hmmmm what will my next DBD dress look like? When in Buffalo, please come visit and see for yourself.
