Sizes vary from label to label, so check your measurements against the table below. Your bust measurement is the most important when choosing a size for a dress. You can either choose a standard size based on the table below OR you can choose custom measurements. This option enables you to choose a different measurement for your Bust, Waist, and Hips.

How do I measure myself?
Measurements should be taken at fullest part of bust and hips, snug but not tight. (Be sure not to measure fingers). Measure length from your natural waist to the hemline.
The image to the right shows where to measure the following features:
A. Bust
B. Waist
C. Hips
D. Skirt Length
If you've had trouble getting standard size clothing to fit, we offer a special service that allows you to customize your fit. We will send you a muslin form of the dress style you would like to order. You can pin the form to your exact fit, send it back to us, and then it will be used by the seamstress to make your clothing. We'll keep this on file for any additional orders. This service is available for $50 and can be ordered by calling 888-676-8461 or by emailing us at service [at] dressbydesign [dot] com. We do have standard size muslins available to send, and if it works for us to send you one of them to pin, the service is only $25. Again, contact us as indicated.
