Marilyn is the matriarch of the DressByDesign family, and with her two daughters founded DressByDesign in 2005. She is blessed to have four children, thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren! She is bright, informed, fun-loving and still very fashionable in her eighties. Her sense of style and eye for fashion make her an indispensable asset to our team.

The author finishes with the following advice- "Every guide tells you to consider your body shape when choosing a dress. Our beautiful model Kathie looks stunning in her DressByDesign picks for the events in her life. And if you are wondering why Kathie hasn't picked an ellen or megan style, rest assured that they haven't gone away. We've just changed back to our original basic styles with more options for different skirts. So the ellen is now a christine with a straight skirt, and megan is a marikate with a-line skirt.
